Camp Šobec is an award-winning camp with more than 65 years of tradition in Gorenjska region. It is located in Lesce, a town near Lake Bled. Once you are on the property, you immediately get a sense of privacy, excellent organization and an all-in-one campsite.
Pitches are very versatile, from tents only to more luxury spots for vans and RVs with electricity and water plugs.
We’ve been lucky enough to visit in early May when the camp wasn’t as crowded as it can be, so we really enjoyed staying by the water, taking strolls around the lake and watching duck having their own Swan Lake performance 🙂
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as warm or dry as we’d like it to be, but we still managed to get some sun and beautiful view on the mountains surrounding the camp valley.
On the day we arrived we also went to try their restaurant and decided to try their pizza and it was really tasty. They also have a grocery store on the property so you can get some food if you like preparing your own meals. It’s a perfect spot for families, children can enjoy bike rides and a big playground. The campsite is quite big so it has a few sanitary facilities and the bigger ones are really cool looking. We were using small ones, because they were close to our pitch and they were quite basic, but clean.
The camp itself is very well marked so you can get around it easily without getting lost. Everything is modern, clean and well-merged into the beautiful natural environment.
