It was one of those days in the middle of winter, embraced by the sunrays and we just had take advantage of it. You know the feeling, right? Crisp fresh air, a really bright  day, smelling like spring, but still chilly and windy.

We parked our car in a parking lot nearby and took a nice hike through the woods, looking for paths  (they are marked, but we took a detour because we got off track a bit, while trying to take a shortcut. The destination (the tower and the mountain hut) can also be reached by car, so it’s completely your choice how you decide to reach the top.

We climbed the tower and it was quite an adventure because it was very windy and the tower was dancing in the wind just a little bit. Meanwhile, we forgot to take a photo of it 🙂 As we are huge lovers of coffee, we made some and enjoyed the views, sitting on the bench and bathing in the sun (the cold and wind was still there, though). When the mountain cabin is open, you can enjoy hot tea or other beverages and of course some warm food.
