We spent a few days at Resort Stari Malni in a bright, sunny February. The area had a light dusting of snow and the Kolpa River flowed clear, setting a calm and serene  winter scene.

The resort Stari Malni is set in a picturesque part of Osilnica, surrounded by some hills and forest trails. The natural setting provides a peaceful and comfortable stay.

There are four vacation houses in the resort. 

Our accommodation was in one of the  the Alprent’s  vacation houses. These houses are built to a high standard with a focus on practical comfort and coziness. They feature modern rustic style of interior  with lots of  natural light. The  kitchens are fully equipped, the 2 bathrooms in each house are fitted with modern fixtures, such as a sauna and the living areas are designed for functional use. The overall design is simple, yet it feels like home, ensuring the space is both inviting and efficient.

Even though the winter weather outside was pleasant, we chose to spend most of our time inside. We appreciated the well-thought-out layout and modern amenities that made our stay hassle-free. We only ventured outdoors briefly for a drone flight to capture the snowy landscape and later enjoyed an evening in the hot tub.

Resort Stari Malni offers a balanced winter retreat where natural beauty meets practical, comfortable living. With its very peaceful surroundings, it is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a straightforward, relaxed getaway that combines indoor convenience with a range of outdoor experiences. You can go for a hike, maybe a swim or stand-up paddle in the Kolpa river.
