Big Berry is one of the best-known glamping resorts by the Kolpa River in Slovenia. It offers different types of accommodation, and during our visit we stayed in the CHIC mobile home, which can host up to six guests.
The mobile home is only a few steps away from the Kolpa River, while the trees in front provide pleasant shade throughout the day. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we would spend most of our time outside – relaxing on the terrace, enjoying the river, or exploring the beautiful Bela Krajina region.
Inside, the layout is practical and comfortable. The main living area combines a small lounge with a fully equipped kitchen. It includes a ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge with a small freezer, microwave, and everything you need to prepare simple meals during your stay.
On the left side of the home, you will find the bathroom and the master bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom has a sink, shower, toilet, and bidet, while the bedroom offers enough storage space for clothes and luggage. On the opposite side, there is a second bedroom with two bunk beds separated by a curtain and a wardrobe. In our opinion, this room is best suited for children, making the mobile home a great choice for families, although it also works well for a group of friends.
Even though the interior is well designed, we think the outdoor area is the real highlight. The covered terrace has a large dining table for six people and a ceiling fan, making it a comfortable place to enjoy meals even on hot summer days. At the other end of the terrace, there is a private jacuzzi – the perfect place to relax after a day by the river.
Since the main dining table is located on the terrace, we believe this mobile home is best enjoyed during the warmer months and in dry weather. That’s when you can spend most of your day outdoors and really make the most of the location.
The Kolpa River is just a short walk across the grass, making this accommodation perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. If you feel like exploring, the Bela Krajina region offers plenty of scenic spots, local wineries, and cultural attractions. Guests at BIG BERRY can also enjoy additional services such as breakfast at the resort bar, wellness facilities, e-bike rental, and a variety of outdoor activities.
We would recommend the CHIC mobile home especially to anyone who enjoys rivers, nature, and an active holiday. Thanks to its location right next to the Kolpa River and its relaxed atmosphere, it is a great place for a summer getaway where you can spend your days outdoors and end them with a soak in your private jacuzzi.
