We spent the last few days of December in this beautiful house we immediately fell in love with. Yes, it is not our typical choice of accommodation, but we certainly chose the right one for the purpose we went there: Relax. Recharge. Enjoy. No off the grid vibes – except for the village vibe, where it was so quiet we actually thought we had no neigbours whatsoever. It feels like the time has stopped in the village… A cat crossing the narrow road by the house from time to time, maybe a dog bark here and there… and that is about it.
We enjoyed the cosiness the house provided: mostly wooden, very spacious, two bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a sauna, big fully equipped kitchen. But most of all, we both agreed that the location of the Truth wines house was pure magic – up on the hill with stunning views over the vines and further to the lake, bathing in the sun all day long. Would you be able to decide if it’s more beautiful to drink the morning coffee while the sun still rises or to eat lunch at noon when the Sun peeks through every window or enjoy the evening cup of cacao whale watching the sun go down?
We were impressed by the little notes, that were thoughtfully placed all over the house – be a piece of advice on where to eat outside, where to go sightseeing or shop for groceries. The notes also included very practical instructions and hints on how to use everything in and around the house and who to call in case of emergency.
