We stayed at DS Camping in autumn, outside the main season, which made the experience calm and unrushed. The campsite felt open and quiet, with plenty of space and very little movement. Surrounded by wide views, wind and fresh air, it felt like a true step outside everyday life.
DS Camping lies on an open plateau in the Banjšice area, bordered by vast fields. The wind is often present, and autumn mornings and evenings can be cold, but this quickly becomes part of the natural rhythm. You dress a little warmer, slow down, and spend more time outdoors with intention.
There is generous space for classic camping with tents, vans and motorhomes. For guests looking for more comfort, the campsite also offers glamping units and a small wooden cabin that fit naturally into the landscape. The outdoor kitchen (two of them, actually) is a practical and central part of the campsite. It is simple, functional and easy to use, and even in cooler weather it invites you to prepare meals outside and enjoy the atmosphere.
And last but not least, horses play an important role at DS Camping. The owners place a strong focus on horsemanship, making the campsite a real paradise for horse lovers. There are so many opportunities for riding lessons and outdoor rides. Their presence gives the campsite a calm and distinctive character, even for visitors who are not riding themselves. Also for those who like other sort of “horses”, they have quads that are available to ride.
Being there outside the main season meant fewer people and more space. Walks through the surrounding area, changing light during the day and peaceful evenings became part of a simple routine.
DS Camping is a place for people who value nature, open space and especially those connected to riding horses and playing sports.
